Alpine Country Rentals is a well-established, successful locally owned and operated business established in 1999. The business started as a small snowmobile rental and repair shop with just 2 employees, and has grown into a busy year-round business employing 4-7 full-time staff. Over the years we have evolved from a snowmobile shop into a multi-faceted business offering auto parts and repairs, small engine parts and repairs, construction contracts, and a well-stocked store front with retail merchandise ranging from safety clothing to casual and recreational clothing.
So, in Valemount as a stop over on way to Whistler, had 1 full day here and thought about quad biking, although not quite sure, went to the alpine country rentals and met Tara who helped us out brilliantly! She helped us plan a route that would provide us with views but not too rocky a path, explained in depth how the quad works etc. Would highly recommend this if in valemount and you have an hour or 2 to spare-or the full day!
This tour was well worth it! Our guide was informative, he shared some interesting history of the area and the tour provided incredible views of the Rocky Mountains, the Robson Valley and a nice array of alpine wildflowers.
An excellent way to see the mountains and landscapes surrounding Valemount, BC. The colorful mountain flora and tasty trail snacks of wild berries were a bonus. Our guide Tara paid careful detail to safety and our skill levels. Her knowledge of the area and history was apparent during the tour. The 3 1/2 hour ride is certainly for a more experienced rider, but the breath taking mountain views are worth it. My 16 year old son said, "this was the best part of the vacation". Definitely recommend this tour.
Willy Chitty is one of the best!!!!. We spent 2 days with him on the weekend and our skills went from super lame to I love this sport. If you are looking to learn or improve your skills, then Will is your guy. I have never snowmobiled in my life and went from super nervious to wow this is cool, show me more. We will be hiring Will several more times, not only to learn more but to show us more of this beautiful country we live in. Awesome guide!
Nothing like being comfortable on your machine and to have someone with the skill, knowledge, and ability to teach, (cause that bit is super important), and sense of humor is worth EVERY penny.

My wife and I recently went on an ATV tour and we had an amazing time! Our guide Tara was especially great and very knowledgeable. It was a wonderful experience!
